Optical Dispenser/Assistant - Key Team Member - Dee Why NSW

We're looking for a qualified optical dispenser to join us. It's a full-time position Monday to Friday no weekend work.

OptimEyes Optometry is a small bespoke, independent Optometrist on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We provide optometry services with particular interest in vision therapy and Neuro rehabilitation.

In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Meeting and greeting patients

  • Dispensing, fitting and adjusting frames.

  • Managing stock levels.

  • Ordering, checking and delivering orders

  • Liasing with sales representatives

  • Keeping up to date with latest lenses, frames and products

  • Answering phone enquiries

  • Managing patient appointments, referrals, recalls and reminders

  • Invoicing, quoting, and billing patients,

  • Monitoring of the waiting room, light cleaning, disinfecting, and tidying duties

  • Providing assistance and support to the optometrist and vision therapy staff members.

  • Reception and administrative duties (e.g., scanning, emailing)

Salary is based on experience and qualifications.
